The Orca Mermaid lives freely with the orcas in the cold icy waters of the glacial Arctic Sea.
after waking from a dream where I envisioned this orca mermaid, i immediately began painting my dream from memory, my vision of the Killer Whale Mermaid.
the painting is photographed while the paint is still wet. This painting evokes amazing emotions in people when viewing it in person. I have seen people instantly begin crying, shedding tears of joy upon seeing the mermaid and orcas.
I am not sure why, perhaps it is the emotions felt by the power of the orcas, clearly expressed. the background is acrylics mixed with water, I turned the canvas many times to allow the paints to flow and give it a more fluid watery appearance.
