a wonderful view of the Soldiers Barracks of the Mission San Juan Capistrano, California.
Brilliant scarlet red Bougainvillea grow adjacent to the arch wall and corridor by the Soldiers Barracks.
Built in 1791, the Barracks housed four to six Spanish soldiers stationed at the Mission.

no doubt the world was much different in 1791, i appreciate the Spanish influence in development and architecture while still maintaining my feelings for the indigenous peoples of this land and country ... i wish your barracks look like this, too, my sweet baby girl .. for no doubt Soldiers Barracks have changed considerably over the years
