waking early in the morning in Pukalani, Maui, Hawai'i and going outside to see the new Plumeria flowers is a wonderful experience. I love Plumeria, they are such beautiful flowers. This is one of my favourite photographs which I took, especially because there is an Orchid tree in the background which gives the most delightful pink colour in this picture.
this Plumeria tree, I think is of the variety Plumeria Rubra, that is, a tree that grows in a "candelabrum" shape typical of Plumerias with a single trunk and multiple branches of a similar length that support an open spreading canopy.
