during the six years that i lived in the State of New Jersey,
i visited the wetlands often.
A marsh is one of our most important habitats supporting more life than any other type of habitat (resource: fcps.edu) I always enjoyed seeing the variety of birds, frogs, fish, snapping turtles and paint turtles, egrets, deer, etc living and thriving in these wetlands of New Jersey.
This is a painting i completed rather quickly (within an hour) depicting the marsh in early springtime in south-central New Jersey.
