your work could be greatly improved by the reduction of the use of black or other dark colors as outlines for the shape of your figures, you have the skill but lack the method otherwise this is an excellent work with good composition. I would also try and make your colors a bit more dull that will bring out the vibrant colors in your subject. Think about contrast as a means of directing the viewer to what you want them to focus on, when everything is more or less the same saturation it looks cartoonified and less real.

hi, i don't mind your critique and criticism. thanks for writing your opinion on this work. my "Religious Series" of paintings and drawings (more to be published soon) are works I did as illustrations for my husband, he was a teacher of biblical studies and had many children in his classes. he commissioned me to paint or draw illustrations for him to use during his lessons, my use of bold colour and black lines are intentional
